    why would you mix very delicate flavor of real soft shell crab with flavored fish slurry?

    I’ve never had a soft shell crab that didn’t remind me – a lot – of eating a peel-n-eat shrimp that wasn’t peeled.  I don’t like that “mash of toenails in my mouth” texture.

    Have I just had “used to be soft but you got it way too late” a dozen times?
