I first saw the inverted roll (uramaki, that’s legit), thought that’s cool. The cream cheese and kinda shrugged, then I saw the cornchips… right, then I saw the… passionfruit? The more I looked the more crazy it got lol. 😛

I don’t recognize some of this. Lots of cream? Is that corn chips?

Tortilla chips with a selection of sushi too westernised? Nahhhhhh. They love this shit in Kyoto, been doing it since the Jomon period (300BC).

After having eaten some wild things at Sushiro and Kura in Tokyo, almost nothing seems too far fetched anymore.

I’ve never seen a place use Abutilon corolla as decorative edibles, before.
ororon
not authentic at all but looks yummy

I bet in Japan they don’t use cream cheese or sour cream with dill or capers in their sushi. Then there’s the tortilla chips… That’s just dumb American filler. How disappointing.

I’d eat it 🙃

You know it’s westernize for the excessive use of salmon, cream cheese and chips.

Are those Doritos? Hahaha.

Bro it’s raw fish on rice chill out
Objective_Unit_7345
Westernised would be seeing less seafood and more chicken, other proteins, a lot of fried items, and ALOT of sauces.
This isn’t traditional, but still looks good.
cheese_bro
Nothing is deep fried, so there room for improvement

No.. Americanized garbage. Pure and simple. Nowhere on Japan would sell that to you in good faith.

is this just….all salmon? Was that your choice, or does this place just have no sense of variety?
pistachette57
Brazilian sushi for sure

Is the fish tasty? Is the rice cooked right? Did you overall like the food? To me that’s all that matters.
