Was able to score a deal on a couple of prime briskets at my local Walmart, $1.96 a lb. Not sure why they were marked down but i won’t complain. Never seen brisket on clearance especially prime briskets in Texas. Now to fire up the WSM!

Dear lord an 18lb prime brisket for $35. Paid $110 for a 16lb prime last week.

Damn, what a deal. I thought I was doing pretty good grabbing a prime one from Costco for about 55 a couple months ago.
Well, the Kentucky Derby was last week, so…..
