
Have been following Bertinet’s methods/recipe for the last few bakes and got myself a stand mixer (really does speed the whole process up and allow for repeated consistency without changing the recipe to get a workable dough!).
Yesterday, things got busy mid proof and had to go out and came home to this monster. Not much I could but cut off the excess and get it in the oven pronto. Turned out pretty tasty with more of a baguette texture taste.
Made some decent bread sticks with the discarded/cut off bits.

Ooo! Give it to a school science class for their study of how the head attaches to the neck. Then they could eat a chunk every time the answer a question correctly.
