    Please post your recipes!

We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn’t mind adding that we’d appreciate it!

  2. The only thing I don’t like about meal prepping burritos is the waste after the fact. Anyone got tips for mass freezing and making sure it doesn’t stick either?
edit: By stick I mean that I’ve tried putting them in a large container before, but they kinda froze together at the time.

  3. All three recipes are from Fair Fit Eats on Instagram, but slightly adapted.

One is the Honey Chipotle Chicken Burrito (https://www.instagram.com/p/DCw-NF9Pa-o/?hl=en), then the Chicken Garlic Burrito (https://www.instagram.com/p/DIZHIxlRI3a/?hl=en), and finally Cheesy Pizza Rolls with ground meat, although that one’s only in his cookbook. Since Im in Germany and we dont have 90kcal tortillas, I need to use 180kcal ones, so all recipes have ~100kcal more than on his page.

I made 6 portions of each recipe.

    Honey Chipotle:

    800g chicken breast

    250g cottage cheese

180g (one pack) Eat Lean grated cheese (currently on sale at Kaufland)

    100g kidney beans

    30g honey

    100ml milk

    150g chipotle chili

    Garlic, spices, etc.

whole wheat wrap with 180 kcal

    Cheesy Garlic Roll:

    800g chicken breast

    250g cottage cheese

    100g light cream cheese

    180g Eat Lean grated cheese

    Garlic, etc.

whole wheat wrap with 180 kcal

    Cheesy Pizza Roll:

    800g ground beef (5% fat)

    100g light cream cheese

    180g grated cheese

    100g kidney beans

    100g spicy turkey salami

    Spices, etc.

whole wheat wrap with 180 kcal

The recipes definitely aren’t healthy haha, but the focus was just to have a quick and tasty lunch ready with 50g of protein.

This is the second time I’ve done it. Last time I only made the Honey Chipotle Burritos. They were really and heat up really quickly in the microwave. This time I wanted to try a few recipes, but honestly, it was kind of a hassle to make so much at once. Next time I’ll just do one recipe with ground beef and one with chicken — and make 12 of each instead. Easier and quicker to do more of one recipe than fewer with 2 recipes

Also, check out Fair Fit Eats, _aussiefitness, or Tom Walsh on Instagram. The concept is basically always the same: prepare sauces and the chicken/beef mix so that each filling comes out to around 300–320 kcal, and then wrap it all in a 180 kcal, 25 cm wrap.

Quick question: how do you prevent sogginess?
I also make burritos and let them cool off a bit on a rack before I wrap them up with foil. They still get soggy.
