Fuck that, you tell that waiter have the chef taste that and give it his blessing.

  3. Stubee1988

Obviously that’s raw but I’m impressed how well they cut it with that spoon

  4. SkepticalPyrate

That’s horrific! They should always provide soy sauce and wasabi with your chicken sashimi.

  5. waspenterprises

Took me way too long to realize that wasn’t a panini

  6. Get this plate to the vet and I’m pretty sure they can still save her.

  7. magnustranberg

What kind of restaurant serves chicken with nothing else on the plate?

  8. i can see the salmonella jumping at me through this picture

  9. uwu-priest

    Your in-laws are focking donuts!

If the chicken was butchered fresh and never frozen then this is fine. Chicken meat will stay red after cooking if the chicken was never frozen, most people don’t know that and aren’t use to it.

The redness is very clearly the bone marrow: raw chicken isn’t red like that. The chicken itself doesn’t look raw, but it’s hard to tell. It’s certainly not a normal way to plate chicken, though, just chopping through the bones like that.

Frozen, freezer burnt and undercooked. They put a char on it half thawed.. on Mother’s Day of all days lol.

How do you like your chicken ma’am? Bloody as hell please

  15. tinamadinspired

My order turned out like that and i heard the server tell the kitchen the customer (me) wants the chicken to be *WELL DONE*. Excuse me???

  16. mike_stifle

That’s marrow from the bone they cut through, not terribly uncommon.

  17. You sure you didn’t cook it for your in laws 😉

What is it? Raw chicken isn’t bright red like that. I thought it was stuffed with something at first.

Sorry to see that, hope it didnt ruin your mothers dinner. Stuff like this happens, even in high end restaurants. Different pieces of meat have different temperatures/thickness/fat content, shit like this just happens sometimes. The problem here is no one checked before sending it out. This is the exact reason a lot of restaurant with more seasoned chef, even your neighborhood restaurant, tries to precook meat as much as we can, especially high risk meat like chicken or pork.

In the last decade, every kitchen i worked in had used sous vide to cook all protein except seafood. Its just safer on top of giving good texture/retain moisture.

That’s not raw chicken though, raw chicken is pink not blood red

  21. I thought it was like a jelly filled chicken cordon bleu. Is that all chicken??

  22. AbbotThoth

Oh, Jesus, my first thought was ‘Why are they calling chicken cordon bleu shitty?’ THEN I read the comments and zoomed.

  23. norfnorf832

So this isnt some sort of weird chicken cordon bleu?

  24. Dense_Diver_3998

Holy shit, I thought that was ham and pepperoni stuffed for a second

  25. drifloony

The fact that they even let this go out to a table should get this place shut down if not have everyone there be retrained or replaced.

  26. MondayNightHugz

Tell the restaurant to turn their grill down to the proper level and accept the longer cooking times so they can cook food properly.

  27. Annual-Club5510

I’d let the waiter know and then leave. Ain’t no way I’m trusting anything coming out of that kitchen

  28. FrankoFellows

Did they ask for medium rare? Proper day spoiler that
