I always got the chili cheese fries when I went to Krystal. Then I got food poisoning one time and my dad never took me to Krystal ever again. I miss their chili cheese fries. My dad also became vegetarian between then and now so there’s no chance he takes me back any time soon lol.

God almighty that brings back some terrible memories. The only time Krystal even sort of works on any level is at about 2-3 in the morning after about 15 beers. And then it’s still pretty much instant regret.

I worked there for a couple months in college. Worst job I ever had. I made the mistake of not signing up for direct deposit and instead of giving me a paycheck, I had to sign up for this stupid Money Network card.

Krystal was just fine. I was getting a great 5 for 5 bucks deal up through Covid (I appreciate my Krystal being open 24/7 through it all). Now it’s 5 for around 9 bucks. Too big a jump for me. Only good thing about all this inflation is that I have pretty much left fast food behind. Service has slipped and prices have jumped. No reason for it at all to me if it’s not cheap and the service is slow.
But I will still get a “Krystal Kraving” every once in a while.

As someone from the North East I had never had Krystal until I started going to New Orleans in the late 90s/early 2000s. Perhaps it was because I was extremely drunk but I found it to be quite good and enjoyable as late night drunk food.

Everyone *shits* on Taco Bell for giving you the shits but Krystal’s has always been the worst for me. Once I start a’tootin’ that room is a biohazard to the olfactory senses, but god do I have a soft spot for them.

Lived in Georgia most of my life. I grew up on Krystal. I love them still to this day. I’ve had White Castle several times while visiting Ohio and New Jersey and I didn’t finish them either time. For me personally, White Castle isn’t good.

I have to say, these are the worse burgers I’ve ever eaten. I took a visit to the south and finally got to try these after decades of hearing about them. Literally just tastes like mustard and pickle. So much mustard it was almost inedible. I’d take White Castle any day over Krystal. Maybe it was the location but they were so gross that I vowed to never eat there again.
