PSA: Leaving a bead of dish soap in your drip tray makes cleaning way quicker
Got that tip from a coffee machine service company and it's true! To clarify: Not during cleaning, but after cleaning – there is way less solid crap sticking to the drip tray

On a similar note I discovered splashing some disinfectant concentrate into the dirty water receptacle in my robovac was the best way to eliminate all bad smells as the old water sits before you empty it, I’ve never considered this might help on the coffee machine. Guess I’m giving it a squirt next clean now!
