I bought this because I wanted to know what in the world an Argentinian PN would taste like (and organic grapes as well, something I usually shy away from). Well I tell you, for $40 bucks, I think it's better than the 22 Domaine Nudant ($28) and the 22 Dagger Leaf ($22), but not quite as good as the 2018 Aloxe-Corton Les Valozieres ($51)

It has a lot of burgundy highlights: light ruby with bright cherry and plum, light body, low tannins, some creaminess, earth. But it's also has some more unique lemon, mint, grass, and moss, as well as being less acidic and lower alcohol (only 12%). The Les Valozieres has a beautiful, lasting finish; this one is satisfactory but not remarkable. It's not as well balanced or complex as the LV, but blows the thin grape skin off the Dagger Leaf.

Would I get it again? Yes, but for $10 more, I'd get the LV.

I’m missing what BROWN has to do with anything here.

  2. Which 22 domaine Nudant did you have? Those bottles benefit from a few years.

This winery is a partnership with Dominique Lafon. He and his family make some of the best burgundies in the market.
This wine is some of the southern-most plantings in South America. This bottling is their no sulfur added label (Sin Azufre is Latin I believe for no sulfur.)
They have bottlings that use a small amount of sulfur, but this bottling is a little hairier and funkier, as expected, but still delicious.
