Finally got around to smoking a ham to make pulled ham and it was definitely worth it. Sorry the first picture has a chunk missing. My kids are savages.

    buy a pork butt, fill up a 2gal ziplock with 1gal water, 1c salt, 1-2c sugar, 1oz (heaping tbsp) of prague #1 /curing salt. mix and brine for 5-7 days and you can then smoke that butt for pulled “ham”. reduce sugar to make it more bacon-y but even 1c is sweet by my tastes
