Fairly new to wine, what are the odds this Italian red from 2008 is still good to drink?

  1. All depends on storage but worth a crack with a nice dinner and a backup handy!

This is a 50/50 coin flip between undrinkable garbage and a delightful experience, albeit something that likely won’t blow your socks off. Only one way to find out.

Only one way to find out! I’d say if it were stored properly there’s a decent chance.

  4. As long as it was stored right, 100%. Basically a baby Brunello in a great vintage.

Junkball is correct. The only way to find out is open it. Enjoy.

Il Marronetto is a great wine. If kept well, thr chances are very good.

Please poat tasting notes, good or bad, if you do open.

  8. I like this Rosso a lot. It’s a fairly more accomplished one vs being too simple. Could be quite interesting as most Brunellos at this age are drinking well.

    Post the notes

Top Tier wine producer. If it’s been stored well and cork in good condition. Hopefully be fine
