Fast-casual Mediterranean cuisine is coming to Owings Mills.
Hummus Republic will open its first Maryland location on Saturday, May 17.
The new eatery will be located in the Owings Mills Square shopping center at 10490 Owings Mills Blvd.
Based in Los Angeles, Hummus Republic has become a national chain, serving its signature hummus, falafel, pita, and other Mediterranean food in 15 states (including soon in Maryland).
Hummus Republic is also slated to open a location at The Festival at Bel Air shopping center.
The Owings Mills location will hold a grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with free samples, prizes, merchandise, music, games, and more.
Franchisee owners Sudip Patel, Sanket Bhatt, and Kush Mehul Patel will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new restaurant at 12 p.m.
