Was hoping for a good second radish harvest after testing the waters with some store bought transplants and having success with those. Probably shouldn’t have fertilized this time around

Radishes go to hell if they have too much nitrogen. We learned that the hard way last year.

I don’t ever fertilize mine and I get HUGE ones but it’s also bc I forget to fertilize almost everything 🤣🤣

I love radish greens. It makes for an excellent kimchi. I prefer it fresh geotjeori style.

Ugh. Always a bummer when this stuff happens. My crop looked like this last year. Actually, I got only one and it looked like that. This year I’m having a great time. Turns out I had very dead soil. Sent a sample off to the local extension for testing and soil amendment recommendations. Game changer.
