Is the calories on this wine legit?? 51 calories a glass with no sugar makes me skeptical…
Bought this at trader joe’s, but I couldn’t find much info on it online! If the calories are legit, I think I found my drink of the summer!

It’s 6.9% alcohol so it’s less than normal wine and it’s 5 oz pour. So it’s comparable to a 100 calorie seltzer at 12 oz

Lol I was excited about that too until I tried it

Don’t forget alcohol is given priority in our metabolic pathways so more of our other calories are converted into fat than would otherwise.

If you want to stretch those calories further, consider mixing wine with Sprite or GingerAle Zero. Makes like a wine spritzer for no extra calories. I can stretch one glass of wine into 3 essentially.

The FDA “allows” a 15% rounding error (for lack of a better term) on all nutrition labels. So always assume the company is fudging the numbers the best they can.
Edit: it’s 20% source (Google it).

Not legit. Wine definitely has a high sugar content as it’s made from fruit.

It’s low ABV and there’s 5 servings of wine in a bottle. Should be pretty good

Yeh if theres no sugar then the only calories are alcohol and the serving size is small.

How can a mix of white wine and orange juice have 0 sugar?!

All alcohol has the same yeast affect on the body. When in a calorie deficit you are most vulnerable to building candida overgrowth. Dont drink if you can’t avoid it
