I just saw a video about this place, is it the most expensive restaurant? Seems cool but I’d leave hungry I feel

This is Le Petit Chef.
It’s dinner **and** a show.
If you didn’t know, they project the imagery over your table, showing you how a tiny chef “prepares” your food, then once it’s done, the actual food gets served to your table **on a plate** or on an appropriate vessel.
The reason on why it’s on r/wewantplates eludes me.

I’ve always wanted to go to one of these

Do they have holographic meatloaf?

We got plates, but now we want food.

I shuddered at first thinking I’d be eating those little things crawling around on the plate. Don’t wanna.
A couple watches later I calmed down. It’s cool now.

That’s a plate though

I would actually prefer eating off a wheelbarrow, nay, a toilet seat. I hate this deeply.

I had a few clients show me this like 5 or more years ago and they wanted this kinda of stuff 3d projection mapped into hundreds of plates across a couple dozen tables in a ballroom.
They were not ready for the quote I gave them.

Aren’t all dining experiences 3D?

Looks entertaining but going to distract me from eating
OrangeClyde
That is soooo cool

Cool concept if waiting for food. I can see lots of restaurants using these in the future.
