This was my first year starting from seed, so let me preface this by saying— not an expert.

But I started my seeds indoors in clear condiment containers with lids at the suggestion of a fellow Redditor. I placed them on top of my water heater for added warmth. My ghosts and fatalii germinated on like day 3 or 4. Once they popped, put them in soil to finish and then it was off to the races.

I liked that I could see which seeds germinated since they weren’t below the soil. Once transferred to the soil after that first sign of germination, I had 100% success rate with my seedlings since every seed I planted was pre-germinated and healthy looking.

Having them that close in the same pot is going to create some problems. Should use seed starting cells with a humidity dome and a heating mat.

You probably have something in your house that can function as a heating mat. Fridge, lamp, PC…
