Decent rare. If you are aiming for medium rare just try doing an even amount of time on both sides, as you can tell one side was left one for longer than the other

It’s a good rare. Anyone calling this raw doesn’t know what raw looks like. The Gray band is a little thick but that’s nitpicking. I’m sure it was delicious.

That is a damn decent second attempt! A little more char/crust, and bit less grey band would make it perfect. I wouldn’t be mad if someone served me this though! It’s a nice rare. I usually do med rare, but wouldn’t turn this down, that’s for sure!
