HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Seven years after first opening in Waikiki, Paris.Hawaii restaurant has a new home in Kakaako.
Located at 324 Coral Street in SALT at Our Kakaako, the fine dining restaurant offers a new $85 prix-fixe menu with 8 courses, featuring dishes that showcase classic and modern French techniques, fresh local ingredients and Japanese touches. It also has a unique selection of French wines, Japanese craft beer, and Japanese teas.
Hokkaido-born and Osaka-trained chef Yuya Yamanaka first opened Paris.Hawaii in 2018 on Seaside Avenue, earning a nomination for USA Today’s Best New Restaurant in 2019. He had worked in the iconic Clown Bar in Paris as the opening Sous Chef.
Yamanaka joined sous chef Michael Maksimuk and operations manager Kazu Nomura on HNN’s Sunrise to showcase their innovative menu.
Paris.Hawaii is part of the Westman Corporation, which includes Buho, Shokudo Japanese, Sushi Fukurou, Westman Cafe + Lounge, and Yakitori Hachibei Hawaii.
Paris.Hawaii is open Thursdays-Mondays with seatings available at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Reservations are available here.
