  1. Meat cutter was planning a cookout this weekend and now he’s gotta go put together another package of “stew meat” to pick up on his way out.

You did well picking up the mislabeled strip loins

Fuck yea that’s a good deal on some strips

  5. Looks like some mislabeled steaks to me. Stew meat is usually already cut up.

Damn that is a sale for some solid looking strips

How is this a mystery meat? Maybe the most easily identifiable cut.

I’m starting to think that these are just secret loss leaders

That cut is known as “Butcher’s cousin’s dinner”

They look like New York strip to me considering that I just ate one like 5 minutes ago, I’m pretty sure that’s what it is. Only other possibility would be a top sirloin.

That will be some tender stew if you cook the meat like stew. I would throw them on the grill and celebrate your good fortune.

Says it’s blade tenderized so I’d make sure unless you want to cook it medium to medium-well regardless

I lucked up on King Crab legs being mislabeled as Snow Crab legs at Sam’s. Bought 4 2lb bags of those suckers
