I’ve seen Langdon Hall mentioned in this sub a few times, with some mixed reviews. I spent a few nights there recently and thought the food and service was outstanding. Here is a lot of what I ate.
In order:
1) a la carte amuse bouche: wild mushroom arancini
2) a la carte chantecler chicken with leg pressé
3) a la carte mille feuille

4) amuse bouche: cucumber w/ mascarpone, smoked trout
5) house-cured salmon with apple and citrus juice
6) hokkaido scallops poached in buttermilk (their own, left over from making their house butter) and preserved citrus with osetra caviar
7) foie gras parfait with quince jelly and toasted brioche
8) roasted leeks with local hazelnuts and truffle in beurre blanc
9) venison loin with cabbage three ways and juniper jus
10) blackcurrant gelato with violet meringue and brown butter financiers
11) petit fours
12) room service breakfast: fried duck egg with roasted leeks and sweet potato, smoked salmon, housemade croissant and chocolate raspberry muffin, berries
13) dining room breakfast: lobster and champagne scrambled eggs, etc
