This is 얼큰 모밀 (spicy buckwheat noodles) i used to get it at a resturaunt all the time in gwangju, and ive been craving it like crazy. However, i cant seem to find any recipes for making it. I would be so thrilled if anyone knew of a good one.

  1. momof3boygirlboy

Looks like a basic dashi broth. I would look up janchi guksu and use the same base. Then add soba noodles and fish cake

  2. Did it have a sweet taste to it? If so that means it’s japanese style broth with katsubushi, you can replicate pretty easily with some tsuyu and gochugaru or something similar. The recipe /u/momof3boygirlboy is pretty good if you’re making from scratch, but you can probably skip the dry fish if you have katsuo

  3. Maybe chyeongyang gochu 청양고추? It’s not red so i don’t think there’s much gochugaru in there. Korean people use spicy green chili peppers when they want heat without the red color
