Hey Everyone,
I just bought this brand new Pro Series 34 and I started the processes of seasoning it as per directed in the hand book. When I left it running on high for 45 min I didn’t notice it shut off because the circuit breaker tripped. I turned it off and put it back on high. The pellet box started to smoke… I ran the heat down, emptied the box and ran on smoke till the majority of pellets got out. Now I’m realizing that the outside is all burnt up. Is this normal and what are my next steps to get my first cook on here ?

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!
If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!
*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
Traeger on!

Yea, that’s pretty normal for the burnpot. I’d be a little concerned about the fuse tripping.
