Stumbled upon this gem while picking up some groceries at the Ranch 99 next door.
First pic is the egg crepe-wrapped crispy cruller ($8) which has herbs and some kind of hoisin sauced inside. It’s crispy, fluffy, and chewy and tasted fantastic. It’s also very big, like the size of a burrito. A must try if you ever come here.
Second pic is their lion’s head meatballs served in brown sauce ($16). The meatballs are frickin’ huge. Each one is the size of a baseball. They’re very tender but kinda lacked flavor. It’s a bit of a one-note dish but definitely hit the spot for me as I was craving meatballs recently. The sauce is quite mild. I think it’s just dark vinegar with caramelized sugar. It’s well-balanced though and complemented the meatballs well.
All the other tables around me had awesome looking food as well. I’m definitely coming back to try as many of their other dishes as I can.
Service was awesome. The workers don’t speak a lick of English but were super nice. Thankfully the menu has pictures of everything so you can just point to whatever dish you want. Value is through the roof here. The two dishes I ordered would have fed 3 people easily. Cash and card accepted. Free parking. 8 out of 10!

And it’s decently priced! I really like everything they make except their tofu flower. It’s too watery and flavorless. The lions head was perfect and you can eat it over 4 meals
Is that supposed to be like a westernized Jian Bing? Would definitely try. Traditional are even hard to come by in the states
Passed this plaza 1000s of times, never went to see what was available. That looks delicious! Thanks!
wow, first item looks amazing
Workers who don’t speak English are a plus in my book!
