Absolutely. 2022 was a smashing vintage in Burgundy. That would be ok to drink now but, properly cellared, it will likely be singing in about 10 years. The price is fair for a Côte de Beaune 1er Cru. If I saw that at my local warehouse, I’d definitely pick up one or more.

Yes because you are getting a premier cru Beaune for $60 bucks also from a reputable producer that’s a great price. Where did you find Benoit’s Beaune Premier cru?? /fireanpeaches

Eh it’s fine, a very pretty but unexceptional wine, I have only seen it at my local Costco in Atlanta (Brookhaven) and given my understanding of how Costco distributes these things I expect you are in my area. I picked it up because I drink a lot of burgundy, but it’s been on the shelves for months and I haven’t/wont buy another bottle. In which case I’d recommend the Argyle Nuthouse pinot, which I know is currently at Costcos around ATL. It is a heavier style for sure, but a better wine for $20 less.
