If that was ever part of a cow, it deserves to return to the world of the living to inflict a horrible toll on humanity.

  2. Looks like pot roast / brased beef without fat/vegetables tucked into it, sad, but pretty common way to eat some types of beef cuts.

This looks like something you’d see on r/wewantplates on a plate

The rosary glaze really makes the dish divine

Chef needs to work on holding the hand sander a little more level.

So, it’s an actual piece of table 6?

Uh… what is that?… For a quick moment, I thought I was staring at a weird black beaded string on a piece of wood…

I think it’s a great idea to send the well dones out with a rosary.

  11. Chef …. They said this still isn’t done enough.

  12. I cooked $100 worth of ribeyes at my sisters house for Mother’s Day. My mom specifically requested them.

That was when I found out my sister doesn’t like any pink in any meat she eats. Mind you, I always cook WAYYYY too much food. Like I had bought food for 20 people, and there were 7 there.

I straight up told her, I’m not cooking any of these ribeyes well done. You can eat the skin on chicken thighs I deboned, the breasts I marinaded, the pork steaks i trimmed and seasoned, or the sausage I specifically bought because you like. But if you’re eating a steak, it’s gonna be medium at most.

She ended up eating half of a steak that was cooked medium, and fucking loved it. She took the other half for her lunch the next day at work and texted me about how good it was.

Sometimes all it takes is some tough love.

    Petrified please.

I worked for a chef at a country club who kept a hockey puck on the line for that guy who always ordered a well-done filet.

I don’t really understand taking offense to how well-done someone else likes their steak.

A steak perfectly medium-rare would still look like shit with that plating.

I remember back in the day I was serving at this upscale place at a ski resort.

Anyways, the long term old lady server approached the chef to let him know that her sister was coming in and would like her steak well done. The kitchen groans, yadda yadda, why overcook a beautiful waygu steak. She also said her sister isn’t someone to complain. Anyways, a few hours before the reservation the chef throws a steak in the back of the oven. When it comes time he plates it (as a joke of course) and I run it out to her. I watched her cut into it and it was like a brittle char all the way through. She didn’t even ask to send it back!

About a minute later she gets a proper well done steak brought to her table. Chef giggled about that for a solid week.
