If I kept these pepper plants in small pots so they don’t grow too tall and can stay inside. Will they still produce a enough peppers to eat a couple a week?

  1. I just want a habanero, cayenne and jalapeno plant i can pick off of year round. But i don’t have alot of space or light. So I thought if I could keep them around a foot or 2 tall that I could use 1 grow light and hope they make enough to eat atleast a couple a week.

They will produce, smaller plant.. smaller pods. It’s still super hot just less pod. I got 1200 outside but I keep 20ish house plants. Squash and cukes in my kitchen ect. U can do anything u want brother. Gl

Last year i started mine in 500gr yoghurt cups in may and they stayed there until death. First peppers in august i believe and they kept producing till end of december.

Had about 10 plants (cayenne and jalapeno) and had roughly 1 ripe pepper a day.

And i really neglected them. Giant aphid infection, dried out soil, no nutrients, cold,… everything you shouldn’t do.

Since moving into a rental, I’ve been growing my habenero and cayene in 3 liter pots for 2 years, now. They survive but don’t really thrive (nb I only feed with compost tea once every two weeks). I do get about 15-20 peppers per plant and each plant is about 18in tall and about 14in diameter.
