Want to learn how to make authentic Italian focaccia bread at home—even if you’ve never baked before? This super easy focaccia recipe is soft, chewy, full of flavor, and topped with olive oil, flaky sea salt, and your favorite herbs or veggies.

In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step how to make focaccia with no kneading required! Perfect as an appetizer, sandwich bread, or pizza base. All you need are a few simple ingredients you probably already have in your pantry.

✅ Ingredients:
460 ml cold filtered water
9 grams salt
7 grams instant dry yeast (or 11 grams if you only fold once)
10 ml olive oil
560 grams flour (I use 360g all-purpose + 200g bread flour)
Olive oil for drizzling
Flaky sea salt for topping
Optional: cherry tomatoes, red onion, rosemary, olives, potatoes, artichokes

✅ Instructions:
-In a large bowl, whisk together water, salt, and yeast. Let sit for 2 minutes.
-Add olive oil and flour. Mix using a potato masher or spoon until combined (no kneading needed).
-Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
-Wet your hands, stretch and fold the dough from underneath over itself on all sides. Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
-Repeat the folding process 3 more times (or just once if you’re in a hurry with 11g yeast).
-Transfer the dough to a 24×36 cm parchment-lined, well-oiled baking tray. -Cover and proof for 1 hour.
-Preheat oven to 220°C (430°F).
-Drizzle olive oil on the dough. Oil your hands and dimple the dough with your fingers, gently stretching it to fill the tray.
-Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and add toppings of your choice.
-Bake for 25–35 minutes. For extra crunch, remove from the tray after 25 minutes and bake directly on the rack for 10 more minutes.
-Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
