Hi guys just made my carbonara. Followed a very specific recipe – no red wine because it’s a Sunday but otherwise would have been a good fixture.

    I think you dropped the ball by omitting the red wine.
    You can’t make a true German Carbonara without it.
    Try again when you’ve got all the authentic ingredients.

    Nice. All you really need to make a good carbonara is some butter in there. Think about it, can’t get any more cucina povera than that so it must be authentic.

    Butter, Eggs, Parmesan, Pepper, Noodels and bacon. Thats all ingredients you need to have for a good carbonara 😇
