No I bought the $100 BGE blow dryer and then melted it under my Traeger and then bought another one because I’m dumb and hate money.

My go-to is a heat gun. Got one for a reasonable price at Lowe’s and it cranks to 1300F pretty quickly. I hit the coals in one spot if a long cook, three for steak or if the kids are hungry, and the grill is ready to go so much faster than any other method I’ve tried (without blowing ash everywhere).

$10 rechargeable air mattress pump. I throw a tissue over the inlet so it doesn’t suck in ash (that I should have cleaned out before). It’s also a great way to make yourself look like a coal miner.

Nah, just an HB weed torch. It gets the coals going fast and it also makes cool jet engine noise.
