Best wings ever for sure. But gotta be a way better than this.

Absolutely love the Joetisserie Basket…but anyone have a better method for keeping wings from sticking?

Once they get the right amount of char don’t they just fall off the cage?

  2. I give my basket a quick spray with cooking oil and never think about it

Just leave them alone and they will naturally unstick themselves after a little.

Keep the lid closed and don’t worry about it.

Baking powder on the wings. Avacado oil spray on the basket

I brush the basket with vegetable oil prior to putting the wings in there. Pat the wings dry. Usually works well enough. If anything slips by just pop them free during the first 15min check.

  8. Try keeping the wings very dry? Like cooking on a stainless steel pan.

Napoleon basket and dry rub (SPG) has never stuck even with 6lb of fresh wings.

I coat the wings with oil and keep the heat down. I don’t do anything else with the basket. I use avocado oil since it can handle higher heat. I never cared about things sticking. This helped with keeping the gunk off the basket for cleaning.

Don’t worry about sticking. It will auto release on its own. Same concept as cooking other meats. It will release when it’s ready.
