I’ve eaten a lot of gravy burgers over the years. They work better when you dip them, but it works as a topping too. I like mine with lots of fried mushrooms and some burnt onions. Glad you found your light OP.

you know what, in Brooklyn Im pretty sure we had hamburgers with gravy on them at least a handful of times in grade school. Mad good, plus if you took a swig of the government issued carton of milk to wash it down, mmm. But yeah I think gravy on a burger does taste good, we didnt have any cheese on our burgers those days.

Nah, if you start putting gravy on a Burger it should just lean into being an open face sandwich and use a knife and for, that shit is way to messy to sandwich. That is OK , open face sandwiches are awesome. Some of us do not want to wear lunch.
