for context; happened yesterday brunch. guest ended up wanting all the fixings for the omelette over grits instead, for some reason.

As someone that thinks omlettes are entirely too much egg, I can get behind this.

I heard, as it were, the voice of thunder.
*Come and see!*, and I saw

Behold a Pale Horse, and the name on him was Death

    And Hell followed with him

NGL, that sounds kinda good (as long as they were cheese grits)

Just ask the nice man if he’d like his omelet made with whole eggs or egg whites…. You can leave the plate

A month ago someone entered our pizza parlor and ordered a Calzone with everything. All meats, all veggies, it was a solid SEVERAL pound calzone that i had way too much joy making. The buyer ate 3/4 of it and took the rest as leftovers.

    Did you ask Patrick?

I have concerns this isn’t Kiki but a certain sea creature Patrick instead.

Wouldn’t it just be easier to order grits and add mods for the fixings?

Assuming the fixings are ham/cheese/veggies/whatever, I wouldn’t hate those things on grits

Go ask the nice man if he’d like his omelette made with whole eggs, or just egg whites!

The chef in me thinks that the parm fries as the default option with a breakfast burger is the bigger crime.

The omelette with no eggs does not even register among the stupid things a server has sent back.

  10. I’m so happy everyone knows Whites. Time for a rewatch. I’m here for you Bib.

No you can’t get an Eggless Omelete..why?? do we not have any?? 🤔 No it doesn’t exist, does it?

Man, I just crumble my bacon in my grits with butter. Call me oldschool.

I have a burning need to ask people why they do shit like that. Like genuinely why are they the way they are

I literally had a customer ask me if there were in eggs in the omelettes one time. I just asked her to repeat herself twice because I was SURE I wasn’t hearing her right.

My friend is allergic to Egg albumin it is prohibitively difficult to explain to servers so instead this happens.

When we vacation to other countries we have to travel with a card explaining her allergies.
