Hiii ☺️ I made this for a kitchen trail a little while ago! I was told to make a chocolate meringue tart and buttermilk biscuits! No further instructions other than the recipe….I think I did this one under 4 hours from scratch 🤔

I did get an offer!!! But the location was FAR and the kitchen was very uptight with female chefs. As a female myself, too many of us in a kitchen makes me feel like there’s tension 😂 but I also just didn’t like how the operated when I was there

How did I do???
Please hired me as your private chef so I can quit these shitty hours and little pay 😭

Wow, just beautiful! A chocolate tart! And the meringue is perfectly shaped and toasted.

Also, appreciate the flair! Made me laugh, haha.

Now let’s see how many whiny folks we get here commenting and crying as to why you won’t share the recipes for thus chocolate tart or for the meringue.

Edit: also, sorry to hear the location was too far and not a good working environment.

Chin up! With skills like making this in under 4 hours, you should be a shoe in for many places.

    Wishing you well, OP

I don’t know why it never occured to me that bakers would have to show up with a project done for part of their job interview. That seems both really stressful/scary, but fun in the accepting a challenge way

Congratulations on your offer! Very well deserved, I want to eat this pic 😆 a shame you had to turn it down, can I ask why there being a few other female chefs made it feel tense? I hope working with other women wasn’t something you wanted to avoid 💗

These look fantastic, and as a mere hobbyist I don’t think I’d ever want to work in commercial kitchen or anything adjacent to it.
