Local guy selling genesis sx335. Been listed for about a month at $950 and just dropped to $750. Says he bought it new two years ago but its too big….his history has a genesis II burner sold two years ago and a bunch of furniture and lawn equipment. Maybe buying cheap from state sales? Not sure why he wouldn't be honest about that…just wondering if anyone sees any red flags in the pictures? Thanks.

Seems like an OK deal, especially given it’s almost summer. I have the S335 (the Genesis II version that predates this) that I got on FB Marketplace for $200 last summer, so by comparison this is an awful deal, but they have plenty of differences that may be worth it to you.

Edit: a quick look at Slickdeals shows Home Depot was selling these for $850 in store about 2 years ago, so it’s entirely possible you’re paying this guy $100 less than he paid 2 years ago for the grill.

  2. It annoys me how little this person is taking off the for sale price without cleaning it properly.

Why do you want someone else’s spoogey old grill? Buy a new one.

Seems a little over priced to me, and is dirty with flavorizer bars that look like they might be aging poorly. Easy fix though. In my area, there’s a lot of similar Weber grills under $300-400, as people upgrade for summer, so to me, it seems overpriced.

Bad deal. The 200 off is not worth the loss of the warranty.

Thanks for input! Will pass on this grill.
