I've been experimenting with different ways to bread chicken and I found a method I really like.

The recipe makes about three servings.

In one bowl I mixed together:
6 Tbsp of almond flour
4 Tbsp of nutritional yeast
And salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika to taste

I prepared the chicken by slicing two chicken breasts in half, tenderizing them, and then cutting them into the desired straps.

I coated each slice in egg and the coated with my dry mixture.

I put them into the oven at 350 for about 20 min

My side is just asparagus chopped and tossed in sauce (dairy-free plain yogurt, lemon juice, and dill)

  1. I really appreciate this thank you. I’ve been vegetarian most my life but I’m poor and can’t be veggie keto just now. The protein options are too complicated much as I love them. So I’m cooking chicken for the first time. I’m just buying it as boneless chicken in the freezer section so I think I’ll have to bread them after it’s cooked.

That looks delicious! And totally compliant too when I checked it!
