    I bet it tastes great, but woof, that sear is not exactly ideal.

  2. I would recommend cutting off the base of the enoki mushrooms next time. It’s almost impossible to get all of the dirt and debris, and it’s also a bit tough. I totally understand the intention behind it being to keep them all together though 👍🏽.

    The lack of any kind of sear, the way that’s plated and the way you (didn’t) prep the enoki is gonna take away from people going ga-ga over this but man I would love to come for dinner. Lmk any time.
