Help me decide. I’m extremely hard on myself and want to get things perfect. I offered to make these macarons for my nephews baptism but the color looks way too teal. It’s a triple batch.

Do I redo it? I couldn’t change the color anymore because it had reached consistency.

I think it should be just fine 🙂 you offered to make them, so it’s on you to bring whatever you’d like. If they paid you for them and ordered a specific color I’d say maybe you should remake them, but since you’re giving them and donating your time and money, I think it’s all good. They look like they’ll be tasty, so I think just go for it!

Don’t be too hard on yourself. Macarons are hard work, and you’ve done so much research and work already! It’s been fun to follow your process. You’re doing a great job!

I wouldn’t redo. Getting colors exactly the same as a photo can be difficult. I would hope they’ll just be appreciative

  3. They’ll lighten when baked! But also, that photo taken of the inspo may have been brightened.

I’d bake these and keep them for yourself lol. I’d rebake and only add 1 tiny drop at time until you get your desired color. I’d also like to say, that pictures have different lighting so the reference Macs might not be that actual light of a color because of lighting
