You’re a good mom for giving him the birthday treat he prefers! Some of us like unconventional “cakes” lol like the time I asked for a platter of Chick-n-minis (the mini chicken biscuits from Chick-fil-a) instead of a cake and my mom got me the platter and stuck the candles right in the buns!

Love that! I always wanted chocolate pie with oreo crust for my birthday. My birthday is super close to Thanksgiving (and on it some years), so extended family always tried to force me to just have pumpkin pie or nothing, but my mom always made sure I had what I wanted.
Your son will always remember that you listened to him, our birthdays should be the one day of the year we get exactly what we want to eat!
