Spaghetti with garlic tomato sauce and mashed potatoes on one plate. Chicken tenders with ranch on top and cornbread on the second.

You couldn’t leave out the pasta for someone eating Ramen for a month?

  2. Aquaboobious

I thought it was cake and schnitzel. Where are the vegetables

All other up, potential comments aside lol…
Leave seasoning and dressing up to the recipient. He or she might not want their spaghetti coated in black pepper nor their chicken pieces coated in ranch sauce. Of course this doesn’t matter if this is what roommate requested. If this is legit, it was a nice thought but yeah let roommate dictate those other things.
Roomate definitely has fulfilled their daily amount of recommended carbs lol

  4. Awesome of you to care for your roommate, but nutritionally wise this isn’t much better than ramen lol
    carbs overload 😆

Uhhhh, look … I love carbs, don’t get me wrong, but this is a bit much. I see you said you don’t have any vegetables, but it’s a good idea to always have some frozen veggies around to add some more nutritional value to a meal. The number one thing I want after a long time of high sodium ramen-like meals is a big salad with grilled chicken or some oven roasted veggies.

This belongs in the shades of beige sub. r/UK_food

Made with care I’m sure it was appreciated as a gesture and change of pace. I could never be sad about mashed potatoes 😋🤤

I like that you made them more noodles lol

Perfect for this sub, and nice of you to prepare food for your roommate! I hope they appreciated it.

But I have to say, the carbs on carbs plate is diabolical, especially since they’ve been eating ramen for months lmao

Geez these comments are brutal. It’s in sfp for a reason guys

Anyway, this is ~~kind~~ (typo) like 3 steps up from just ramen. You’re awesome for going out of your way, op. Even if that doesn’t include vegetables lol

  11. couldn’t give the poor girl some greens? 😭

*good job on helping her out though.*

i feel like everyone is being too judgemental for the subreddit that this was posted in. i would cry if my roommate made this for me, my mouth is seriously watering right now because even if it doesn’t look too impressive, it looks tasty as hell.

I think I fell in love with you. You’re a good friend.

  14. shesdigging

not shitty!!! this is such a beautiful kindness, thank you for doing this.

  15. Everyone getting at you for this is so weird, you’re doing a very nice thing for someone. That’s the bottom line. Good for you!

this is so sweet and looks delicious!! ignore the assholes. learning to cook and feed yourself/others perfectly takes a long time. I used to work a preschool and seeing what parents would pack their kids really helped me as an adult- a little fruit, a little veggie, some protien, some carb, and something fun!! you already have protien and carbs which is excellent. To help with the fruit and veggie- try to add one thing of color: green beans, roasted broccoli, carrots and celery in ranch, a tomato with salt and pepper, an orange, a handful of blueberries, etc. you are already doing so good- now its time for step 2: vegetable boogaloo

Mash & Spaghetti is an interesting combo. You could have put chicken tenders on the spaghetti with tomato sauce and melt mozzarella on top to make chicken parm.

why is everyone being such negative nancies… u did something kind and that should be celebrated

  19. Can you come over to my house and cook for me? I’ve been eating ramen daily for the past 2 years 😭 (broke college student)
