In Midtown went to So & So’s, a jazz piano bar. The KPop fries are a must-try crispy, spicy, cheesy, and somehow it all just works. I wasn’t a fan of the Madeleines, which I found too bland. The Bodega Cat cocktail, though, was a standout: a smooth, creamy mix of tequila and espresso with just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The menu offers a good variety of food and next time I’ll try the Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese ‘Fondue’.
