First year with plants more of these seem to be appearing, maybe I’m just noticing them more. I assume these may be a pest egg of some kind ready to harm my plants. Little yellow and a few clear balls. Some bigger than others.

lol i had the same concern after adding slow release fertifilizer and forgot that i did that
I’ve seen those exact things in Miracle Gro potting mix, and it is capsules of liquid fertilizer.
They “appear” because they float up through the potting mix when you saturate the pot while watering. The others are right about fertilizer balls.
