Inaugurated just in time for the summer season, a chic new brasserie has opened in the Grand Palais. A fine tribute to French tradition, the Grand Café ticks all the boxes of a good address, thanks to a fine menu, but also and above all to its quite exceptional setting at the foot of the emblematic monument. Part brasserie, part cocktail bar, part restaurant, this is an ideal new spot for fine weather.
At the foot of the Grand Palais, the Grand Café
Just awarded the Prix Versailles for being one of the most beautiful museums in the world, the Grand Palais is about to welcome the public back under its majestic glass roof. After 4 years of renovation to meet heritage conservation, safety, accessibility and modernization requirements, the 8th arrondissement institution is ready to once again set the pace for Parisian culture.

And with the reopening of Le Grand Café, we’ll also be treated to a new gastronomic experience. First of all, in terms of decoration, Joseph Dirand ‘s talent was chosen to design the premises. Noble materials, a spectacular bar and the extraordinary spaces of the Grand Palais combine to create the warm ambience of a Parisian brasserie, while respecting the spirit of the monument. And outside, between the great columns, you’ll find a superb terrace inspired by the Belle Époque!
At Le Grand Café, you’ll enjoy the very best of French cuisine, starting with mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres. Mimosa eggs with anchovies, foie gras terrine or white asparagus with Hollandaise sauce: good products and tasty recipes are part of the menu. The menu also includes salads, a fine selection of fish and meats, and a plethora of desserts to share… or not.
