That might be the first time I’ve seen someone get upset about service being too efficient lol

people often forget that the restaurant can deny you service if you’re being too much as a customer lol.

I’ve been a regular at a place and had my usual in front of me 20 seconds after I sat down, let alone order. The manager would ask me every other week or so if i wanted to change my order. I loved that place.

Made to order is it the same as fresh what an idiot.

So a burger place is staggering a few patties on the grill during peak rush periods so they can assemble and serve quickly to order…makes sense.
But this ninny seems to think that made fresh implies that their order is delivered to the kitchen where the chef then goes to butcher a cow, grind it up, make the patty, THEN start grilling it…

Always the “frequent” customers that have a problem, isn’t it? I’m sure they politely presented their conundrum while respectfully asking for their order to be remade, too! I hope they find a lawyer worth their salt to take on this great injustice and flagrant act of discrimination.. *against assholes*.

I worked in India for a bit a few years ago. I was in a very premium fine dining space. It was a world class restaurant one of the best I’ve worked in. Anyway, there was a huge ruckus and the whole restaurant came to a stand still. There was a drunk and belligerent customer shouting and hitting a service staff.
Turns out he was angry because he was “spending a lot of money” and he was asked to move because the seating had finished and the next seating had started. He said the restaurant had embarrassed him in front of his friends.
There was also audio recording of the call between him and the front desk where they’d told him that the seating would end at 930 and he would have to vacate his table. To which he had already agreed.
It was insane id never seen anything like it. He kept calling the foh staff, “servants” and beating them and shouting ruining everyone’s dining experience. Finally he left and the cops came to shut down the restaurant because he was super connected apparently and made a call to his friend to tell them the restaurant had embarassed him in front of people.

I always support customers suing my workplace because if its a valid issue then the boss deserves it and if its something like this then they just get to humiliate themselves in front of a lawyer when they try to hire on, maybe a couple lawyers if they’re particularly polite about declining

He got a free burger and is still upset??

Fuck yeah Alex!
No “We’re not playing that game today”, just a quiet refund. It’s like how my grandpa taught me to do a thumbs down to bad driving. They’re expecting the finger, but the thumbs down is regal.
Alex Thumbs downed this formal dipshit. And it was SUPER EFFECTIVE.

Whenever anyone threatens a lawsuit, tell them that all further communication will be between their attorney and the attorney for the business.
If they try to backtrack, too bad! That’s just how it works.

I thought this was going to be at a steakhouse or a nice restaurant. The gasp I let out when I saw it was literally fast food

100% one of the burgers from another table had an alteration and there was a fuck up, so they sent the normal burger to her.

Hey. I ordered this thing. Someone in the kitchen was making this same thing for someone else but the other things that go with it weren’t ready so they sold me the other persons thing and started another for the other person.
This is an outrage! How can someone just abracadabra a thing to me and me not think that thing is fraudulent!?

I wonder if that customer even proofread that AI generated drivel before he copied and pasted it. The syntax and semantics scream Chat GPT.

I kind of feel like that response was because they hurt Alex’s feelings. I’ve worked in kitchens my whole life and sometimes you’re in you’re groove and super proud of yourself that everything happened exactly like it should and everyone busted their ass on a nice busy day…. and then you present someone a hot burger with a smile on your face and they come back with that shit? My whole day would be shot, I lost my faith in humanity, I’m crying in the walk in later.
