Anybody have tips? They’ve been potted for almost two months and haven’t really seen much growth. Am I doing something wrong? Watered once daily. And gets around 10 hrs of sun everyday in my backyard

Not enough info. But if night time temps are still consistently under 55F, this happen. If they get too stunted they may never recover but if consistently warmer temps are in the near future, don’t fret too much. However if you can bring them in your home and put them under lights during the day, that would be a good idea.

You do not need any fancy lights or setups to nurse plants inside. The flowing picture is part of my closet nursery. These peppers were brought outside about a week ago but due to night temps being consistently in the 40s and low 50s, the new growth was turning yellow. So I brought them back in until night temps are at least consistently above 50F (possibly next week).

  3. Quite often when plants ‘stall’ they are just focusing on root growth, and will start growing again afterwards.

The watering once daily needs to stop. You are probably causing root rot by doing that. Also at that size they should be getting at least 12 hours of light if not more.

Id go with a bigger pot, maybe a 5-7 gallon fabric pot (dry out quick in July) and some quality potting soil, or at least add some nitrogen in liquid form.

What are the daytime and nighttime temperatures? I noticed that you are wearing a sweater.

Are you feeding it anything besides water? I use a mixture of inorganic and organic water soluble fertilizer mixed in a watering can as well as mixing organic fertilizer into the soil.

If it’s not got enough food try some slow release fertiliser in the potting mix or if planted outside scatter some in the soil, in my theoretical opinion it really helps when they stunt because they can still access some nutrients even when they’ve been planted for a while. Thats if you need to rehome it though. I swear by “boost sprays” normally they’re for indoor plants but if a chilli is struggling and I hit it with this stuff it gives me a good indication as to whether it is starving or the problem is something else.
