Traveling to NYC for the first time and looking for a good dinner spot. Hoping for something with a similar ambiance to Babette’s in Chicago.
Staying in midtown but willing to uber for dinner. Money is no object, but we don’t want any real crazy food. No sushi. Nothing raw.

Right mood but wrong menu, Caffe Reggio in the West Village for coffee and cake. Any time of day or night it’s dark in there.
