First time buying anchovy cans ever. I used the whole can and didn’t expect it to be so salty but it was delicious. Paired with broccoli rabe and sprinkles of cilantro. It was bitter, salty, umami in the best ways.
Anyone recommend good canned anchovies in the US? I heard Patagonia makes whole non salty anchovies I might try that.

All brine cured anchovies will be that salty. They’re more intended as an umami flavoring for a sauce than to be eaten whole.
