At worst you lose $100 and end up having to toss it. If you don’t have a smoker and want to try one, why not?

You can still find parts on Amazon, could be a easy to fix up if it’s not working. Good solid smoker.

I have the same one, I have honestly run 1000’s of pounds pellets through it over the years. Only problem I have ever had was the control board had to be replaced, which warranty covered.

I’ve had a DLX since 2020 and it’s been pretty much no issues. Temp started drifting a little recently but I replaced the probe and that fixed it with a $17 part in 20 minutes. For some context on age, this one is likely older than August 2020 since I verified when I got mine that they were shipping everything with PID at that point.
