For the filling-we used 1 cup Mozerella, 5 tbsp pesto, 1 red bell pepper, 3 hand fulls spinach, 1 tomato, 1 yellow onion. We covered the dough with the pesto and 1 tbsp of garlic seasoning. Vegetables were sauteed and layered on top of pesto. Then we covered everything with cheese and wrapped it up. Then grated parmesan on top and baked it at 425 for 25 minutes (or until golden).
For the sauce- we sauteed half a diced yellow onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 8 cherry tomatoes, 1 tbsp tomato paste, half a cup of pesto, half a cup of Parmesan, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper (about 2 tbsp each, or to taste), and 14 oz of crushed tomatoes from the can. Sauteed for about 30 minutes, or until it thickens.
