He reverse seared a steak better than 80% of this sub.

how was the original cook? Smoker, sou vide, oven? results were good all the way. Been thinking about a sou vide for a bit now.

One of the most memorable things my dad ever taught me, was how to cook a good steak

Looks great but your son looks better what that big smile. He’ll always remember this and probably brag about his first steak!

“Hey GPT, what would Mark Zuckerberg look like cooking a perfect tomahawk when he has a lad?”

Nice giant chunk of pure white fat. Culinary 101 says it’s raw.

    You’re a good dad.

So many parents make fun of their kids for stuff their kids can’t or aren’t doing. All without realizing it was the parent’s responsibility to teach their kids how to handle life and adulthood. Your kid is going to be competent, aware, and making mean steaks when he’s an adult. Good job.

Hell yea. Teach them things that you like to do young so you have some buddies to chill with later. Also, it doesn’t hurt to teach your kids how to cook.

I preheat at high heat to clean the grill with a brush and throw it on and it sears right away,😋
