    Looks like it! If watering has been consistent, maybe it really is a calcium deficiency – you could try adding some cal-mag

    I’ve only had this happen on 1 plant ever, just noticed yesterday, but we’ve had over 90 days heavy flooding rain this year alone. Checked the rest of my plants a few hrs ago and so far it’s just a few, on the 1 plant.

    If the pepper is far enough along, I pick it, cut out the rot, and enjoy the rest thoroughly.

    It does look like BER to me. I’ve had it happen, but despite being a calcium deficiency, it’s almost always caused by inconsistent or not enough watering.

    Before you go adding anything to your soil, try adjusting your watering first.
